Michele Ribolsi is an Associate Professor of Psychiatry at Link Campus University in Rome. He holds dual expertise as a medical surgeon and psychiatrist, alongside a PhD in Neuroscience. His academic career includes past roles as a Research Fellow (2016), Fixed-Term Researcher at the University of Rome Tor Vergata (2017–2020), and Contract Professor at Campus Bio-Medico University of Rome (2020–2023).
His research focuses on the psychopathology of psychotic onset, psychiatric comorbidities in autism spectrum disorders, psychopharmacotherapy for neurodevelopmental conditions, psychodynamic psychopathology, neurophysiological correlates of mental states at risk, connectivity in schizophrenia spectrum disorders, and psychosocial determinants of mental health. He has authored over 70 publications in SCOPUS-indexed journals, a monograph titled Vital Poverty. Inequality and Mental Health, and chapters in the Manual of Psychiatry (Third Edition).
Ribolsi has held clinical leadership roles, including Head of the Psychiatry Service at Fondazione Policlinico Campus Bio-Medico (2020–2023) and Medical Director at the Interuniversity Clinical Institute (2024–2025). He is available for student consultations after class via email appointment.
