Francesco Venturi is Professor of Italian Literature at the University of Oslo's Department of Literature, Area Studies and European Languages, with a focus on 20th-century and Renaissance literature. His academic journey includes a doctorate from the University of Siena (2012), postdoctoral research at the University of Pavia (2012-14), and a Marie Curie Co-fund Postdoctoral Fellowship at Durham University (2014-16). He has led projects such as the British AHRC-funded 'Petrarch Commentary and Exegesis in Renaissance Italy' (2017).
