Francesco Quatrini

Francesco Quatrini is a Lecturer at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU) in the Religious History and Heritage department under the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities. His research focuses on early modern religious and intellectual history, particularly tolerance debates, confessional dynamics, and political thought in Europe. He teaches courses such as 'History of Christianity' and 'History of World Philosophies.'

Key research interests include the Reformation, seventeenth-century religious movements, and the interplay between sovereignty, pluralism, and religious dissent.
