Francesco Figari

Francesco Figari is a Professor in Public Economics at the University of Insubria (Italy). His research focuses on tax-benefits microsimulation modelling, labour supply, public policies, redistributive effects, and poverty/deprivation in Europe. Previously, he worked as a Research Fellow at ISER on the EUROMOD project.

Research Interests: His work bridges public policy analysis with quantitative methods, emphasizing how tax and benefit systems influence economic behavior and societal well-being.
