Francesca Verones

Francesca Verones is a Professor in the Industrial Ecology Programme at the Department of Energy and Process Engineering, NTNU. She specializes in advancing Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) methodologies to quantify biodiversity impacts of human activities, with a focus on spatially differentiated LCIA approaches. Her work integrates environmental science, policy, and global trade dynamics.

Education:

• BSc/MSc/PhD in Environmental Engineering from ETH Zurich (2003-2013)
