Francesca Borja is a Visiting Assistant Professor of Biology at Hope College, where she teaches Introduction to Cell Biology and coordinates lab sections. She also instructs Genetics labs and mentors undergraduate researchers. Her research focuses on sustainable management of captive animals, including studies on enrichment strategies for zoo carnivores and pedigree analysis of chimpanzees. She holds an M.A. (2021) and B.S. (2018) in Biology from Grand Valley State University.
