Francesc Vicens Vidal

Francesc Vicens Vidal is a tenured Senior Lecturer at the University of the Balearic Islands (UIB), specializing in the Didactics of Musical Expression within the Faculty of Education. His academic work focuses on integrating music into educational frameworks, with a strong emphasis on the cultural and historical significance of traditional music, particularly in the Balearic Islands. He has been instrumental in advising doctoral theses, such as that of Dr. Cristina Llabrés González on choral singing in Mallorca, and collaborates actively with research groups like GRAiE - Mus&Art Lab and Studies in Culture, Society and Politics in the Contemporary World (CSPMC).
