Francesc Perera Domenech

Francesc Perera Domenech is a Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB). He holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics (1998) and a Licenciado (1993) from UAB. His research focuses on C*-algebras, ring theory, semigroups, and functional analysis, with emphasis on classification problems and structural properties of algebraic objects. He is Principal Investigator or Co-Investigator in multiple national and international research projects, including 'CLASSIFICATION, STRUCTURE, AND REGULARITY PROPERTIES OF RINGS, MODULES, C*-ALGEBRAS, AND DYNAMICS' (2024–2027).
