Fran Cowley

Fran Cowley is Professor of Livestock Production in the School of Environmental and Rural Science at the University of New England, leading the Ruminant Research Group. Her research spans methane reduction strategies, feedlot management optimization, and tropical livestock systems in Southeast Asia and the Pacific.

She manages UNE's Tullimba research feedlot and collaborates on international projects in Indonesia, Cambodia, Myanmar, Fiji and Samoa focused on sustainable village-based production systems.
