Françoise Orazi is a Professor of British Civilization and Director of the Department of Languages at Lumière Lyon-2 University. Her research focuses on feminism, liberalism, and the history of political thought, with particular emphasis on John Stuart Mill and transnational feminist movements. She has led significant publications such as Feminisms in Europe (2023) and edited volumes on tolerance and sexual history. Orazi is also active in media, appearing on France Culture to discuss thinkers like Harriet Taylor Mill and John Stuart Mill's contributions to political economy.
