François Faure is a Professor of Computer Science at University Joseph Fourier, Grenoble, and a researcher at INRIA and LJK-CNRS. His work focuses on physical simulation for computer graphics, including deformable models, collision detection, and simulation software architecture. He leads the development of the SOFA simulation library, widely used in medical and entertainment applications.
