Fouad EL OUARDIGHI

Fouad El Ouardighi is a Professor of Operations Management and Decision Sciences at ESSEC Business School, France. He holds a PhD in Management Science from ESSEC (2001) and has held visiting positions at institutions like HEC Montreal, McGill University, and TU Wien. His research focuses on interdisciplinary topics including sustainable operations, supply chain management, environmental economics, and dynamic game theory. He has authored numerous articles in top journals like Omega, European Journal of Operational Research, and Economic Theory.

El Ouardighi teaches at the MSc/PhD levels, covering supply chain management, optimal control, and pollution control. He has coordinated ESSEC’s PhD program in Operations Management and Decision Sciences and led several specialized masters programs. His work bridges operations management with marketing and environmental policy, emphasizing dynamic modeling.

His research highlights include studies on pollution control policies, supply chain sustainability, and pandemic control strategies. Key themes include transboundary pollution management, optimal recycling strategies, and the economic impacts of lockdowns.
