Fouad EL OUARDIGHI

Fouad EL OUARDIGHI is a Professor at ESSEC Business School where he teaches supply chain management, project management, and quality control in MSc and Advanced Masters programs, as well as supply chain management, optimal control, and pollution control in the PhD program. His academic career spans over two decades at ESSEC, progressing from Assistant Professor (1998-2004) to Associate Professor (2004-2009) to full Professor (2009-present), while holding leadership roles including Academic Director of Advanced Masters programs and Coordinator of the Operations Management and Decision Sciences concentration.

Dr. EL OUARDIGHI earned his PhD in Management Sciences from ESSEC Business School (2001) and Doctorate in Management Sciences from University Paris X Nanterre (1996), with additional degrees from the same institutions including a top-ranked DEA in management sciences. His educational background reflects strong foundations in both business and quantitative methods.

His research develops interdisciplinary approaches at the intersection of operations management, environmental economics, and sustainable operations, applying dynamic methods to address complex challenges in supply chain management, pollution control, renewable resource harvesting, and pandemic response. His work frequently employs game theory and optimal control frameworks to model strategic interactions in economic and management contexts.
