Fotis Tsiolis

Fotis Tsiolis is a Doctoral Researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Sustainable Materials (MPI-SusMat) in Düsseldorf, Germany, affiliated with the Department of Microstructure Physics and Alloy Design within the Theory and Simulation group. He concurrently serves as a PhD Candidate in Integrated Computational Materials Engineering through a bi-national program between MPI-SusMat and the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), funded by a DAAD scholarship.

His research develops predictive tools linking thermomechanical history to microstructural evolution and anisotropy, directly addressing sustainability challenges in recycled-content alloy design.
