Foteini Pasenidou is a Lecturer at the University of South Australia (UniSA) within the UniSA Education Futures faculty and the Centre for Research in Educational and Social Inclusion. Her work focuses on inclusive education, school architecture design, and co-design methodologies. She serves as a Research Degree Supervisor and contributes to advancing equitable educational practices through participatory research approaches.
Her research emphasizes the intersection of architecture and inclusive education, exploring how physical spaces influence student inclusion, participation, and belonging. She has developed frameworks co-designed with students to reimagine schooling environments. Additionally, she investigates cyberbullying prevention through youth-centered methodologies, advocating for co-participatory practices to empower young people as research partners.
Notable contributions include a 2024 study on architecture’s role in promoting inclusion and a meta-study on cyberbullying methodologies (2022). Her work is supported by grants such as the Australian Government Research Training Program Scholarship.
