Forrest Meggers is an Associate Professor in the School of Architecture and an Assistant Professor at the Andlinger Center for Energy and the Environment at Princeton University. He holds a PhD from ETH Zurich, an M.S. in Environmental Engineering, and a B.S.E. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Iowa. His research focuses on integrating building systems, sustainable energy solutions, and thermal optimization through the CHAOS Lab, which he directs. He has secured grants from NSF, DOE, and ARM, and founded Hearth Labs to commercialize SMART sensor technology. His work includes geothermal systems, radiant heating/cooling, and low exergy air conditioning.
