Folke Tersman is a Professor and Chair of Practical Philosophy at Uppsala University and Deputy Director of the Institute for Futures Studies in Stockholm. His career spans multiple institutions, including the University of Auckland, Stockholm University, and Gothenburg University.

His research focuses on the meta-ethical implications of moral diversity, with additional contributions to epistemology, philosophy of language, and political philosophy. His seminal work, Moral Disagreement (Cambridge UP, 2006), explores the challenges posed by divergent moral views.
Tersman’s publications analyze trends in moral skepticism, debunking arguments, and methodological debates in ethics. His work appears in top journals like Noûs, Philosophical Quarterly, and Erkenntnis.
