معرفی
Dr. Floriane Guillevic is a PostDoc researcher at the University of Basel, affiliated with the Department of Environmental Sciences and the research group led by Prof. Christine Alewell. Her work focuses on metal contamination in environments impacted by historical mining and smelting, combining multidisciplinary approaches from particle-scale to watershed-scale analysis.
- Current research: Revising dating frameworks for geomorphological processes using radionuclides (SNF-funded AVATAR Project).
- Education: PhD in Environmental Sciences (2019–2023) from University of Savoie Mont-Blanc, France; Master’s in Geology and Geological Engineering from University of Québec at Chicoutimi (2018–2019).
Research Trends: Her publications (2023) analyze lead (Pb) and antimony (Sb) isotopes to trace contamination sources in alpine mining districts. Key subfields include soil erosion dynamics, paleoenvironmental reconstruction, and geochemical modeling of historical metallurgical impacts.
Experience: Teaching Assistant at University of Savoie Mont-Blanc (2019–2021), with internships at Agnico Eagle Mines (Canada, 2017) and IMERYS (France, 2015).
