PD Dr. Florian Zabel serves as a scientific Assistant at the Department of Environmental Sciences within the Faculty of Humanities and Natural Sciences at the University of Basel, Switzerland. He is affiliated with FG Delzeit, the research group led by Prof. Dr. Ruth Delzeit.
His research interests center on Environmental Sciences and Land Use Change, reflecting the focus of his department which investigates complex interrelationships between the biosphere, geosphere, hydrosphere, atmosphere, and anthroposphere. The Department of Environmental Sciences conducts interdisciplinary research on environmental changes and their impacts on life and living conditions on Earth.
