Florian Weber is a Research Fellow at the Leibniz Institute for Educational Trajectories (LIfBi) in Bamberg. He works within the NEPS-Migration sub-unit and has been involved in projects such as ReGES (Refugees in the German Educational System) and SOCIALBOND, focusing on migration, perceived discrimination, and educational mismatches.
- Education: B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Social Sciences and Sociology at the University of Cologne (2011–2019)
Research Interests: His work centers on migration-related inequalities in education, longitudinal analysis of refugee integration, and the societal impacts of perceived discrimination. He also investigates educational trajectories and structural mismatches in academic settings.
Publications: His research is reflected in a 2021 working paper addressing methodological challenges in tracking educational outcomes for adolescent refugees over time.
