Florian Enzmann

Florian Enzmann serves as Head of Endovascular Surgery at the University Clinic for Vascular Surgery, Medical University of Innsbruck, specializing in aortic diseases, endovascular therapy, and peripheral arterial conditions. His clinical leadership spans complex vascular interventions and surgical innovations.

His research focuses on aortic diseases, endovascular therapies, and peripheral arterial occlusive disease, with significant contributions to vascular aging, bypass surgery techniques, and translational applications in vascular surgery. Key subfields include bioprinting for vascular grafts, biomechanics of arterial systems, and digitalization in surgical planning.

Dr. Enzmann completed his medical education at the Medical University of Vienna, followed by residency, PhD, and habilitation at Salzburg University of Medical Sciences. He refined expertise in complex aortic diseases through a clinical fellowship in Bristol (UK) before joining Innsbruck in 2020.
