Florian Engl

Prof. Dr. Florian Engl is an Associate Professor at the Department of Economics and Econometrics, University of Regensburg, leading the Chair of Economic Psychology and Ethics. His research focuses on behavioral and experimental economics, behavioral ethics, and institutional effects on human behavior. He teaches courses such as Microeconomics III (Game Theory), Behavioral Economics, and Economic Ethics in German and English.

His notable publication in the American Economic Journal: Microeconomics (2021) examines how enforcement institutions influence cooperative behavior beyond their direct scope.
