Dr. Florian Busch is an Associate Professor in Plant Physiology at the University of Birmingham's School of Biosciences. He holds a PhD from Heinrich-Heine University (2008) and has conducted postdoctoral research at institutions including Western University, the University of Toronto, and the Australian National University. His research focuses on linking photosynthetic processes with mathematical models to understand carbon fixation and plant responses to environmental changes. He teaches undergraduate modules such as LC Ecological Concepts and Plant Science, emphasizing theoretical and experimental approaches.
