Flint Yuan Wang

Flint Yuan Wang is an Attending Physician/Hospitalist and Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania Health System in Philadelphia, PA. His dual background includes a B.A. in Cultural Anthropology and a B.S. in Biology with a Chemistry minor, both from Duke University (2009). His anthropological training emphasizes empathy and cultural competence, which he applies to improve patient interactions across diverse backgrounds. He advises Duke students to leverage their Cultural Anthropology expertise in premedical paths to address diversity and equity in healthcare.
