Fleura Bardhi is a Professor of Marketing at Bayes Business School, City St George's, University of London. She holds a visiting professorship at Copenhagen Business School and previously taught at Northeastern University, Boston. Her research focuses on consumer behavior, digital consumption, and access-based consumption, coining concepts like 'liquid consumption' and 'access-based consumption.' She serves on editorial boards of leading journals, including Journal of Marketing and Journal of Consumer Psychology.
Education: PhD from University of Nebraska-Lincoln (USA), MSc from Norwegian School of Management (Norway), and B.A. from University of Tirana (Albania).
Research Interests: Fleura explores how digital and global trends shape consumer behavior, including sharing economies, transnational consumption, and consumer life transitions. Her work emphasizes qualitative methods and sociological approaches to understand market dynamics in post-industrial societies.
