Flavia Aschi is a Junior Assistant Professor and PhD candidate at Utrecht University's Faculty of Geosciences within the Copernicus Institute of Sustainable Development. She specializes in environmental sciences, focusing on developing scenarios to halt biodiversity loss and promote recovery. Her work is part of the 'Bending the Curve' initiative, collaborating with Wageningen University & Research and WWF. She also serves as a visiting researcher at the Netherlands Environmental Assessment Agency (PBL).
