Fiona Jordan is Lecturer in Tourism at Swansea University's School of Management. With extensive experience in transnational education, she previously held strategic responsibility for Business and Law partnerships at UWE Bristol. Her research examines gender dimensions in tourism, socio-cultural geographies of travel, and sustainability in tourism/events. She collaborates with academic institutions in the UK, USA, and Norway, and partners with UK festivals and community groups to evaluate sustainability initiatives.
As Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, her pedagogical interests include research-informed teaching and internationalization of student experiences. She teaches social/cultural aspects of tourism, sustainability, and experiential dimensions of travel at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
