Fiona Blunsdon

Fiona Blunsdon is a Lecturer at Robert Gordon University's Gray's School of Art, where she serves as Head of Stage 3 for the BA(Hons) Fashion Management program and Module Coordinator for Professional Practice. She holds a BA (Hons) in Industrial Design (Textiles) from Heriot-Watt University and a PGCE, augmented by professional certifications in education and psychology.

Her research explores:

• Gender expression and identity in design contexts
• Print/digital media with focus on fashion communication
• Craftivism as feminist practice and cultural representation

She integrates industry experience from textile design roles in New York and Bradford into pedagogy.

Blunsdon directs student placements and mentors research, with collaborative projects featured in exhibitions. Her contributions align with UN Sustainable Development Goals for education, gender equity, and ethical consumption.
