Dr. habil. Filp Csaba Zoltán DLA (born March 27, 1973) serves as Associate Professor at the Hungarian University of Fine Arts, Department of Painting since 2009, with prior roles as teaching assistant (2005-2009) and Painter-Restorer program lecturer (2006-present). His expertise spans oil painting techniques, art restoration, and 17th-century Dutch painting symbolism.

- 2000: Painter Diploma, Hungarian University of Fine Arts
- 1993: Goldsmith Vocational Examination, 6th Industrial Vocational Training Institute
Zoltán's research centers on spatial uncertainty in Dutch Golden Age still lifes, particularly Willem Claesz Heda's vanitas works, while his artistic practice explores symbolic representation through contemporary painting. His restoration work focuses on oil painting conservation, bridging historical techniques with modern practice. Teaching methodology emphasizes technical mastery through structured exercises progressing from monochrome studies to stylistic emulation.

- Scholarship of the Fine Arts Lectureship, Hungarian Academy in Rome (2011)
- Raiffeisen Bank Award at the One Week Exhibition of the Műcsarnok (2004)

As curriculum developer for the Painter-Restorer program, Zoltán designed the three-semester training framework progressing from foundational techniques to advanced stylistic adaptation. His pedagogical approach, rooted in Heinrich Wölfflin's contrasting principles, integrates historical analysis with hands-on practice. Military service (1994-1995) as Defence River Flotilla Section Leader preceded his artistic career, followed by blacksmithing apprenticeship (1993-1995).
Zoltán operates within the Zsigmond Károlyi Department of Painting while cross-training restoration students, maintaining studio practice focused on large-scale oil still lifes (e.g., "Csaba Zoltán Filp Studio still life", 135x180cm, 2000). His international exhibitions demonstrate consistent thematic exploration of symbolic domestic objects across European venues.
