Filiz ÖĞCE

Prof. Filiz ÖĞCE is a prominent academic and healthcare leader serving as Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences at İzmir University of Economics (IUE). She holds a PhD in Nursing from Ege University (2004) and has over 30 years of academic and clinical experience. Her roles include Associate Professor (2010) and Professor (2015) at Ege University before transitioning to IUE.

Key projects include nationwide cancer risk detection initiatives and collaborative studies on wound healing at the University of Melbourne. She has advised two master’s theses on topics like pressure sore incidence and transplant patient adherence to treatment.
