Feryade Tokan Şenol is an Assistant Professor at Yeditepe University's Faculty of Communication, Department of Journalism. Her academic career spans over a decade, focusing on media analysis, political communication, and social media dynamics. She has taught courses such as 'Media Analysis,' 'Political Communication Campaigns,' and 'Citizen Journalism and Democracy.'

Her research explores the intersection of media, politics, and society, particularly how social media amplifies moral panic and how minority newspapers shape cultural identity. She has published on topics like the role of Facebook groups in political discourse and the historical impact of minority journalism in Istanbul.
Her recent publications include analyses of social media's influence on public opinion, the role of minority media, and crisis reporting. These works highlight her expertise in digital communication, media ethics, and political discourse.
She has supervised numerous graduate theses on topics ranging from citizen journalism to environmental news in local internet media. Currently, she serves as Head of the Department of Journalism and Program Head at Yeditepe University.
