Ferya Tas Cifci

Dr. Ferya Tas Cifci is a Lecturer at the University of Hertfordshire, affiliated with the School of Law and School of Education. Her work intersects Criminal Justice, Human Rights, and Gender Studies, with a focus on Gender-Based Violence, Honor-Based Violence, and Legal Pluralism in the Middle East and Muslim world.

Research Interests: Dr. Tas Cifci explores socio-legal challenges surrounding violence against women, feminist legal theory, and the cultural dynamics of honor codes among Turkish-Kurdish communities.
