Professor Fernando Dias is a distinguished academic in the Department of Physics at Durham University, specializing in advanced photophysics and optoelectronic materials. His research focuses on developing novel organic molecules for applications in light-emitting devices, particularly exploring the fundamental mechanisms behind near-infrared emission, room-temperature phosphorescence, and thermally activated delayed fluorescence.
