Fergus Daly

Prof Fergus Daly is an Honorary Professor at the University of St Andrews' School of Medicine. He holds a PhD from the University of Hull and an MA from the University of St Andrews. He serves as Director and Trustee of Frontier Science (Scotland) Ltd. His research focuses on lung cancer biomarkers, autoantibody analysis in infectious diseases, neurological disorders like Bell's palsy, and clinical trial methodologies for cancer treatments.

Key research interests include developing biomarkers for early cancer detection, evaluating comorbidities in screening trials, and investigating prognostic markers for SARS-CoV-2 infections. His work spans oncology, immunology, and neurology, with a strong emphasis on translational research.
