Ferenc Pittler is a Research Fellow at the Cyprus Institute (CyI), where he has been affiliated since 2019. Previously, he held postdoctoral positions at the University of Bonn (2016–2019) and Eötvös Loránd University (2013–2016). He earned his PhD in Particle Physics from the University of Pécs (Hungary) in 2013, following a bachelor's degree in IT Physics from the same institution in 2009.
His research focuses on Lattice Quantum Chromodynamics (QCD), particularly nucleon-nucleon scattering processes, Beyond Standard Model studies, meson form factor calculations, and the behavior of strongly interacting matter under extreme conditions such as high magnetic fields and finite temperatures. He is affiliated with the Computation-based Science & Technology Research Center (CaSToRC) at CyI, contributing to computational and theoretical physics research.
No specific articles, grants, or awards are explicitly listed in the provided text, though his publications are indexed on SPIRES/INSPIRE. No advised students or grant details are mentioned.
