Ferdinando Menga is a Full Professor of Legal Philosophy at the Law School of the Università della Campania “Luigi Vanvitelli” in Italy. He holds an adjunct position as Visiting Professor at the Institut für Ethik, Ev.-Theologische Fakultät, Eberhard Karls Universität Tübingen (Germany). His research focuses on legal philosophy, political theory, and ethics, with a specialization in intergenerational justice, phenomenology of alterity, and democratic theory.

His work explores the ethical and legal dimensions of responsibility towards future generations, the contingency of legal orders, and the role of conflict in democratic systems.
