Dr. Feray Coşkun is an Assistant Professor in the Department of History and Cultural Studies at Özyeğin University. She specializes in the early modern Ottoman world, focusing on symbolic spaces, power practices, and religious rituals.

- Ph.D. in History and Cultural Studies, Berlin Graduate School Muslim Cultures and Societies, Freie Universität Berlin (2015)
- M.A. in History, Boğaziçi University (2008)
- B.A. in History, Middle East Technical University (2003)
Her research explores Ottoman cosmography, sacred geography, and collective memory. She is currently involved in the European Research Council (ERC)-funded project "Geographies and Histories of the Ottoman Supernatural Tradition" at the Foundation for Research and Technology Hellas in Crete. Her doctoral dissertation, "Sanctifying Ottoman Istanbul: The Shrine of Abū Ayyūb al-Anṣārī", analyzes the Eyüp Sultan Tomb's role in Ottoman religious and political symbolism.
