Prof. Felix Steffek is a Professor of Law at the University of Cambridge and Deputy Chair of the Faculty Board of Law. He serves as Director of the Centre for Corporate and Commercial Law (3CL) and holds a JM Keynes Fellowship in Financial Economics. He is also a Global Distinguished Professor at the University of Notre Dame and a Research Member of the European Corporate Governance Institute (ECGI). His roles include representing law on the Academic Publishing Committee of Cambridge University Press.

Research Interests: Corporate finance law, insolvency law, commercial law, dispute resolution mechanisms, and the intersection of artificial intelligence with legal systems. His work employs doctrinal analysis, comparative law, economic analysis, and empirical methods.

Advisory Roles & Grants: Advised the EBRD, OECD, World Bank, and multiple governments. Lead researcher on projects like the Nuffield Foundation-funded 'Access to Justice Through AI' and AHRC-funded 'Explainable and Ethical Legal AI'. Secured grants from ESRC, DAAD, and the Thyssen Foundation.
Labs/Teams: Directs the Centre for Corporate and Commercial Law and collaborates with the European Corporate Governance Institute. Active in interdisciplinary initiatives at the Judge Business School and Mykolas Romeris University.
