Felix Schneider is a Lecturer at the University of Music Würzburg, specializing in Jazz Piano within the university's Jazz Department. He is actively involved in teaching and performing, playing in multiple bands such as Castillo Kazaki, Hussien & Felix, Lou-Duo, Raniin-Trio, Anton Mangold-Quartett, and Pioneros Latinos.
His research interests focus on Jazz Piano techniques, music pedagogy, and collaborative artistic projects. Felix has gained recognition through several awards, including:
- 1st place at the 2015 Jazz Competition with his band 'Charles Mingus Tribute'
- 1st place at the 2017 Steinway Solo Piano Jazz Award in Frankfurt am Main
- 1st place at the 2017 Young German Jazz Award in Osnabrück with the Anton Mangold Quartet
He maintains strong ties with the university's artistic and educational initiatives, particularly through the solidarity music school association 'Welcome with Music.'
