Constantin Krahmer is a faculty member at the University of Music and Performing Arts Rostock, teaching in the Department of Pop and World Music. He is an accomplished jazz pianist, composer, and performer with extensive professional experience.
His research and artistic interests span Jazz Performance, Contemporary Music, Music Composition, Piano Performance, World Music, and Electronic Music. Krahmer's work demonstrates a commitment to exploring the boundaries between traditional jazz forms and contemporary musical expressions.
Krahmer's recent artistic output shows a clear evolution from electronic and experimental works toward more focused piano trio compositions. His latest album 'Care' represents a mature exploration of minimalist approaches within contemporary jazz, emphasizing expressive nuance and collective improvisation.

Krahmer founded Yew Records in 2021 and has established the Bron concert series at St. Peter's Church in Rostock, creating opportunities for international musical collaboration. He has performed extensively across Europe and beyond, working with numerous ensembles and international musicians.
