Felix Rahberger

Felix Rahberger serves as a researcher at the Chair of Sociology with special emphasis on Social Inequalities within the University of Bamberg's Faculty of Social Sciences, Economics and Business Administration, and concurrently works as a research associate in the Panel Labour Market and Social Security (PASS) department at the Institute for Employment Research (IAB) since January 2024.

His educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Hamburg (2015-2019) followed by a Master of Science in Socioeconomics from the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg (completed 2023). Prior to his current appointments, he advised the head of the IAB.

His research centers on Social Inequalities, Labour Market dynamics, and Social Security systems, leveraging interdisciplinary perspectives from sociology and socioeconomics to analyze socioeconomic disparities. Current work integrates empirical analysis through the PASS project at IAB with theoretical frameworks from the Chair of Sociology.

He actively contributes to collaborative research initiatives at both the University of Bamberg's sociology chair and IAB's PASS department, focusing on data-driven investigations of labor market policies and their societal impacts.
