Felix Krämer is an Assistant Professor at the University of Erfurt within the Department of History, specializing in recent North American History. He serves as a Principal Investigator for Junior Research Team 5 of the CRC Transregio 294 "Structural Change of Property" and is affiliated with the Research Unit on "Voluntariness" (FOR 2983).

- Awards: Willi Paul Adams Award 2025 (OAH) - Honorable Mention
His current research focuses on private debt and property formation in Germany and the United States within CRC Transregio 294. He previously led Subproject A02 of the same CRC on bodily property in the US from the 18th to 20th centuries. Additional projects include his habilitation "Living on Credit. People, Power, and Debt in the USA from the End of Slavery to the Present" and participation in the Thyssen Foundation-funded "The Eating Subject: A History of Politics in the USA from the 19th to the 21st Century".
