Felix Effenberger

Felix Effenberger is a researcher affiliated with the Singer Lab at the Ernst Strüngmann Institute for Neuroscience and the Frankfurt Institute for Advanced Studies in Frankfurt, Germany. He holds a PhD in Mathematics and Computer Science, and has transitioned into computational neuroscience research. His work integrates neuroscience, mathematics, machine learning, and open-source software development.

After his postdoctoral research at the Max Planck Institute for Mathematics in the Sciences (Leipzig) and the Ernst Strüngmann Institute, he co-founded a stealth startup in 2017 focusing on neurally inspired video compression technologies.
