Dr. Felix Bildhauer is a researcher affiliated with the Institute for the German Language (IDS Mannheim) and Freie Universität Berlin, actively contributing to the Collaborative Research Center 1412 'Register: Language Users’ Knowledge of Situational-Functional Variation'. He serves as a key member of project A04 'Building register into the architecture of language – an HPSG account' and maintains an ORCID profile.
His research focuses on register variation and Head-Driven Phrase Structure Grammar (HPSG), with methodological expertise in Bayesian inference, corpus annotation, and computational modeling. He has developed the COReX feature extraction framework and contributes to the PreCOX20 corpus for register analysis.
