Dr. Felix Augustin is a Post-doctoral Researcher in the Biogeology Working Group of Prof. Dr. Hervé Bocherens at the Department of Geosciences, University of Tübingen. Funded by a Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) grant (Projektnummer 533750820), his research focuses on the diversity and palaeoecology of latest Cretaceous vertebrates from Transylvania, integrating taxonomy, bioerosion analysis, and stable isotope studies.
His academic journey includes a PhD in Geosciences (2020-2024) from the University of Tübingen, preceded by M.Sc. (2016-2019) and B.Sc. (2012-2016) degrees. Fieldwork spans the Hațeg Basin (Romania), Morrison Formation (USA), and Miocene localities in Bulgaria and Germany.
