Felicitas Haupts

Felicitas Haupts is a Research Scientist and Doctoral Candidate at the Leibniz Institute for Science and Mathematics Education (IPN) since 2025. She previously worked as a Teacher for Special Tasks at the Centre for Didactics of Biology, University of Münster (2024-2025), and as a Research Scientist at the Centre for Teacher Education, University of Münster (2023-2024).

Her research focuses on modeling competence in biology education, contextual features in modeling processes, and enhancing science communication and domain-specific learning for preservice biology teachers. Her work aligns with IPN's research lines on professional competence development and educational measurement.

She holds a Master of Education in Biology and English (2023) and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and English (2020), both from the University of Münster.
