Felicia Pratto is a Professor of Psychological Sciences and Director of Social Psychology at the University of Connecticut, where she researches power dynamics, intergroup relations, and social cognition. She holds an M.A. (1987) and Ph.D. (1988) from New York University. Her work examines inequality through frameworks like Social Dominance Theory and Power Basis Theory, addressing real-world issues including discrimination, political conflict, and social hierarchies.

- Power asymmetries in organizational and societal contexts
- Cognitive mechanisms underpinning prejudice and stereotyping
- Cross-cultural validation of dominance hierarchies
