Felicia Liu is a Lecturer in Sustainability at the University of York's Department of Environment and Geography. Her work bridges capital, society, and nature in the Anthropocene, with a focus on sustainable finance as a mediator of human-nature relationships. She teaches corporate sustainability, environmental management, and sustainable finance, while her research extends to biodiversity finance, fintech, and media representations of environmental change.

Her research explores green FinTech’s role in climate solutions, biodiversity finance disclosure, and the media portrayal of agroforestry practices in Southeast Asia. She has published extensively on climate finance hybridity, AI-driven environmental risk assessment, and the politicization of seasonal ecological phenomena.
