Felicia Barrett

Felicia Barrett is an Associate Professor and Regional Head Librarian at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) Library, leading operations at the Rockford campus. She oversees library services for the College of Medicine, College of Pharmacy, College of Nursing, and Medical Biotechnology Program. Her roles include collection development, staff management, and strategic planning for library IT resources.

Research Interests: Focuses on health sciences librarianship, academic library services, and evidence-based practices. Her work examines user behavior analysis, citation trends, and the impact of library resources on faculty research. Service & Leadership: Active in professional organizations such as the American Library Association and Health Science Librarians of Illinois. Served on committees including the UIC Rockford Violence Prevention Taskforce, Interprofessional Education Task Force, and MLA Board of Directors. Committed to improving health literacy and library service outreach.
