Dr. Feiyue Gao is a current ARC-Grant Funded Researcher A at the School of Chemical Engineering, University of Adelaide. He earned his bachelor's degree from Harbin Institute of Technology (2017) and his PhD from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) under the supervision of Prof. Min-Rui Gao, followed by a postdoctoral researcher role at USTC until October 2023.

His research focuses on designing electrocatalysts and understanding their mechanisms for applications in fuel cells and seawater electrolysis. He has contributed to nanomaterials synthesis, electrocatalysis, and energy device development, with >30 peer-reviewed papers, an h-index of 22, and >3,100 citations. His work includes 5 ESI Highly Cited Papers, 6 cover-featured publications, and contributions to the Encyclopedia of Nanomaterials (Elsevier). He holds 3 Chinese invention patents in nanomaterial synthesis.
